According to Probst - at 50F it ought to put out about 3.52V; 104F - 2.16V; 194F - .61V. Fairly linear scale in between for interpolation. You might try loosening it just a bit and retightening; and also slide the connector on and off to be sure there's good continuity at the connection. But more than likely, you'll have to replace it.

do you mean what each code is? it is in Haynes as i recall (Chapter 6).
for the codes and stuff related to it, go to this thread and then to post 4 (by Jrichker). he lists 3 sites for pulling codes.

good luck.
oh i think i get you. to do a search on a small word or phrase, try outlining it with * *

i.e., *code 21*

just did it, here is what i got:
http://forums.stangnet.com/search.php?searchid=289001

you could also try *ECT*
good luck.

The sensor is $15. Just replace it if it is giving you a code. Its not worth trying to "fix" a sensor.

Here's the table :

Pin 7 ECT signal in. at 176 degrees F it should be .80 volts

68 degrees F = 3.02 v
86 degrees F = 2.62 v
104 degrees F = 2.16 v
122 degrees F = 1.72 v
140 degrees F = 1.35 v
158 degrees F = 1.04 v
176 degrees F = .80 v
194 degrees F = .61

Ohms measures at the computer with the computer disconnected, or at the sensor with the sensor disconnected.
50 degrees F = 58.75 K ohms
68 degrees F = 37.30 K ohms
86 degrees F = 27.27 K ohms
104 degrees F = 16.15 K ohms
122 degrees F = 10.97 K ohms
140 degrees F = 7.60 K ohms
158 degrees F = 5.37 K ohms
176 degrees F = 3.84 K ohms
194 degrees F = 2.80 K ohms

The ACT & ECT have the same thermistor, so the table values are the same
