Hey guys.Im new here & like this forum.as you may have guessed I have a few questions about my 92 GT.I recently rebuilt my engine. Its a 306-now w/ b303 cam,gt40 heads cobra intake k.b. hyper pistons 73 mm maf,75mm tb & 373 gears. My question is Ive been dealing w/ the usual idle hunting issues & slight surge while cruising-no load.Yes I have done all the adj possible more than once & replaced all vac lines w/ almost all the sensors, but not for this prob. I talked to FRPP & they asked If I had a C&L maf & I do.They said 99% or more of the time its du to the C&L .they said get a pro m & it will take care of my prob.Any input on this. Also would it hurt me to go to 24 lb inj?

Yeah, I'd ditch the C&L and get a Pro-M as soon as possible. TONS of people have problems with surging and C&L.

As far as the 24#ers go, I would stick with the 19s unless you're having issues. I'm no expert on fuel injectors though, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt. I'm sure someone else can help you with that.

19's are good to 300 HP. You probably don't need to make a step up.

I suggest pulling codes before buying parts, but you probably already have?

I have had good luck with C&L.

Thanks for the input guys. For some reason I didnt get a e-mail saying I had responses like other forums do so I didnt think anyone gave me input until I went to this forum & saw you guys responded.I hope I made the right choice because I talked to a guy @ FRPP & he said w/ my mods 24's would be good.I hope it all works out & I dont have any issues w/ them being too big.Ill keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again for the input.
