I need some Ideas and or pictures on how to hide the engine bay wires on a 65 mustang. I have used the search option but cant find what I am looking for. All I find is for newer stangs w/ inner fenders.
It's actually a pretty easy deal to hide the majority of the underhood wiring...
For the driver's side, drill a new hole under the hood hinge and pass the wires to the fenderwell there. Bring them back in by the radiator support thru the headlight harness hole. I did not lengthen any wires...
For the passenger side, I had to cut/lengthen the two wires running to the solenoid. Not a big deal. Relocate the solenoid up beside the radiator to visually "clean up" the passenger side fenderwell. Move the horns to the inside of the radiator support as well.
Also take a good look at your plug wires/routing. I went to the "5.0 style" routing using Made For You Looms (Summit), and a 94-95 CObra cap cover. Cleans that up quite a bit...
I did the same as BobV,but i didnt have to make a hole near the hinge, there was already one there,I also made a plug for the engine sensors and wiring so when i pull the engine its one plug.
