Does anyone have HIDs with smoked lenses? My lights suck hardcore with the smoked headlights and I need a way to make them brighter. I don't want projector headlights either.

HID, or projectors are much brighter, Projectors are less expensive, and they will work fine with smoke lenses

Are you talking about 2001+ headlights or do you have aftermarket headlights? The 2001+ lenses are NOT "smoked". The lense is crystal clear, the plastic inside the housing is painted black making it appear darker.

I HAD smoked lenses and just put SilverStar headlights in it and they brightened up a lot!

I just got clear lenses and I love them! I feel like I have high beams on everytime I turn on my lights!

That's what i have and i love it.

Everytime i see a stock GT at night with the stock yellow headlights i feel bad for them.

Don't get the Silverstar fog lights though. They suck. I blew out 4 of them. I use some white ricer light for my fog bulb. It matches the silverstars perfectly.

I have aftermarket smoked headlights from Blue Oval Industries. My lights just don't shine bright or go very far at all. I need a solution, big time.

Autozone sells em.

Ebay has them cheaper.

You need a 9007 for the headlight and an 899 or 893 for the fog light

PIAA Platinum Super White or Sylvania Silverstars?

And how long do they last usually?

Here are b/a pictures of PIAA:

PIAA cost 2-3 times as much as Sylvania Silverstars. Also you will probably have to mail order PIAA but SS will be at AutoZone...

They are both excellent bulbs.
