I love being able to see... but after 2 days im already getting some crap from cops... i was driving with my lows on and he pulled me over telling me i had my highs on... I told him they were my lows... He asked me to see my highs so i showed him... he then said OH GOD... and gave me a warning... he was a nice officer... was jokeing around with my g/f and stuff... but still they are only 4.3k bulbs....

No.

They are blue as hell.

If I was in somewhere like Cali I would get pulled over every night.

As long as they are white.

But I think they have to be ins a special housing to be legal though. Regular housings send lights all over the place. But you can get some non-DOT ones that will send light where it needs to be for HIDs. I dont know of anyone who makes them for stangs though.

Have you tried angling the lights downward?

HIDs tend to be in a projector type housing... in non projector housings, yeah theyre a little illegal... but **** it, our cars are practically illegal and cant pass emissions anyway

well My guess is that they are not true HID LIGHTS just one of the kits that you get off ebay. I have a similar kit. Make sure they are aimed right. Also what head lights do you have?

HIDS = GLARE!

I have 6000k bulbs and have been through a couple checkpoints and the cops Have said nothing about them.

plus with your light your high beams since the bulbs move in and out they create more glare.

And it cost $400+ to do a real HID light setup.

Just aim them down a bit... I had my truck lights so high that when I put on the high beams they didn't ever really hit the road, jsut aimed over it... it was great with the lows on but I got hassled a little bit... lowered them jsut a hair and no more problems...

they are all custom fabbed and it take alot of time and money! then you have to wire them in!
