I have had a high idle since my injector swap. I use a 76mm c&l with the 30lb tube. It will idle from 1200-1500 but sometimes it'll stay around 900 and be normal. When I turn my electric fan on, the idle will drop lower sometimes (like from 1200-1000 for example) Any idea's on this? I checked tps and I re set it to about .91v. Car runs fine otherwise but I can't fix this idle. Any help???

 Have you done anything with the throttle body or base idle screw? Or the iac motor? Checked for vacume leaks since you had the upper intake off? All your sensors pluged back in? Any check engine light? Just a couple of suggestions. :nice:

IAC is relatively new, I played with the idle screw and it doesn't do much. I dont think its a vacuum leak because there are times that it idles normal. I think its eec related (a chip will help) or the 10 pins connector connections need to be played with.

Yeah I unplugged the battery for about 2 hrs and took the car for a ride last night and it didnt help. I didnt try resetting the idle though, maybe I should disconnect the battery again, then set the idle and see what happens? I might try messing w/ the 10 pin connectors too.

My friends car was doing the same thing when he went from 24 to 30 lb injectors we removed the sensor from the housing and cleaned it with a little carb clean and it helped a little but he eventually picked up a chip from jms and now its fine and the chip made a huge differance in drivability.
