I recently did an e-brock intake and a bbk 70mm tb/egr

first off the trottle return springs are junk so I unhooked it, and got my own setup from some return springs out of the'help' section

well, anyways, it idols at 1100rpm and I can't get it down. the timing is straight and there are no vaccume leaks. I turned the idol screw down all the way but 1100 is the lowest it will go. I thought about carving some material off the throttle stop but the trottle blade appears to be down all the way already.

I thought about covering up the little bypass hole in the middle of the trottle blade but my luck it would come loose and get lodged somewhere in the motor

any ideas???

Usually if you turn the idle screw all the way down it will be very hard to start your car becasue no air is getting in. Did you let the car run for awhile with the new idle settings it may take some time for the computer to adjust, at least that is the case for my car!!
