high milage

I found a cobra that is a straight up trade in for my car at 8,000 but the only bad thing is that it has 146,000 miles on it... the exterior is in very good shape except for some minor scratches and my parents don't want me to get it because it has such high milage but i really want to get it and it is in excellent condition.

It all depends on what car you're trading for it is. I'd trade a Kia for it. But that mileage is very high for a car that has probably been taken through it's paces. So, based on what little info I have, I'd say "LISTEN TO YOUR PARENTS". I know it's hard to do sometimes being a teenager and all, but really we aren't that stupid.
