I have a 96 GT 5 sp.Lately it has been making this really weird high pitched metallic scratching sound between 1400 RPM and 2200 RPM.It only does it if you are maintaining speed.If you floor it the noise stops.If you let off the gas the noise stops.It's been doing this for a while but it would only do once or twice aweek.Now it does it all the time.It sounds like the nouse is coming from the passenger side cylinder head.But I'm not very sure because you can only hear it while going down the road.You can't just rev it to 2000 rpm while not in gear couse it doesn't make the noise then.At first I thought it was the throw out bearing in the clutch.But now I am not so sure.If anyone could please help me.Thank You
