high speed loss of power

hi, i have an 87 mustang 347 stroker and a holley 650 double..4.10 gears.My problem is that when i take off the car is is pulling hard till i hit high speed,around the end of 4th and through all of 5th i feel the car struggling not alot but noticable.Not pulling like it should.can it be a fuel prob.LIke i said only at high speed .thx

Id blame it on your ported e7s which are choking your 347 on the top end.

I seem to be having the same problem my self right now. the motor doesnt make any power past 5000 rpms. At 5000 theres 10lbs of boost and at 5500 thers 12lbs, but power falls off after 5000. Time for new heads.

it maybe that your float bowls are not set high enough and you are starving the engine of fuel at the higher rpm's. Adjust the float bowl level up and see if that helps any.
