I was having poor idle problems, especially with A/C on, give a rev in neutral and the car would almost stall unless as the rpms dropped back down. I tapped into the TPS and checked the voltage, it was 3.5, supposed to be no more than 1 at idle. I bought a new one and problem solved, if i rev in neutral with a/c on now the rpms drop back slowly from about 1500rpm down to 800 and the car doesn't come close to stalling out.

Thanks to all who offered advice.
