Can someone tell me the differences between the Dark Highland Green color of 1968 and the Dark Highland Green color of 2001, 2008-2009 model Mustangs? Paint codes are different. Looking at pictures, it appears that the 2001, 2008-2009 color is darker than the color from 1968.

Thanks,

they are both called highland green ,but i don't think the new color is the same
as the older color. i realy like the 67-68 color. that is what is going on my 68 shelby convert replica.

I didn't think that the 67 and 68 were the same color. My car was supposed to have the 67 but ended up with something that looks more like the 68 (I've been told it isn't that either).

I did think the 2001 and 2008 color looked darker than the '68. Correct on the '67 color too, it was called Dark Moss. I'm going to stick w/the '68 color for my Bullitt clone
