Any guesses on the amount of damage?

you're pobably looking at 500-1500 dollars worth of damage. it depends on who does the work, what they replace and whether or not you want oem parts.

You might want to do a pressure check on your AC just incase you have a leak.

Ford dealership here in town is going to be doing the work.. the front end looks unrepairable and I have no clue what happened to the fog light wire harness or the mounting hardware.. so that's all getting fixed too.

Are you going to Jim Click Ford?

I purchased my first vehicle from them back in 1993. I was stationed at Ft. Huachuca.

DM used to have killer all nighters.

Are you thinking about getting a Cobra, Saleen or Roush front Bumber or are you going to go back with the stock look?

Well I'd LIKE to get an aftermarket one.. but I have no idea if my insurance company will cover an aftermarket bumper or the paint job for it.

I'd guess the coyote was damaged pretty good, but if you gave us some pictures of it we could probably tell you better. From the looks of the car, I guess you probably did him in.

I hit a deer with mine a while bck, guy in front of me hit it actually I ran it over next, it was hit the deer or get run over from behind by a big truck. Any way only dammage I had was alighnment slightly off, the sub-brace or whatever that bar is, and all the nasty smell from the blood and guts on the headers... total cost was 500 bucks for one new part, extensive cleaning and the alighnment...

Luckily my bumber didn't crack, my chin spoiler folder under and did the rubber-maid pop back.... I cant remember the site, but theres quite a few that sell take off bumpers pre painted for under 200... good luck

If you want to put an aftermarket fascia on you will have to make arrangements with the shop before they order the pieces and they would work off of the amount figured in for the ford replacement and you would supply the piece and pay any extra or they would supply it and charge you any extra

How much is a new bumper from Ford??? I know they come prepainted already.

If it's cheap, i would just buy the bumper from Ford and put it on yourself. Buy a used foglight housing from Ebay for $20 and call it day.

The estimate was $1406. That's for a OEM bumper painted, new fog light assy. with mounting hardware, and a new a/c condenser (and the applicable recharging of the system.)

He also said if the absorbant material is damaged that has to be replaced too.. but couldn't see it all without taking the bumper cover off.

You can get a Cobra front bumper assembly WITH foglights and bezels for $319 from 5.0resto. Click here.

Someone backed into my front bumper and it was cheaper to go the Cobra route. Technically, the GT bumper and Cobra bumper are the same price from Ford.....last I checked.
