Well I fished out in the rain and hit the passenger side rear tire on the curb, totalled the saleen rim and now the rotor can not move freely thought the caliper at some points. So my question is have any of you ever done this? and ifso what did you damage? could it be my caliper bracket? or my rotor or my axle?? which is the most likely? going to autopac just kind of antsyto find out whats wrong.
thanks.

Pics?

Sucks man, I always leave the TRAC CONT on in the rain, besides driving like a grandma.

Hope the damage isnt too bad and you are back on the road again soon.

Just gonna have to take it apart and see what's damaged. I've scraped up againse curbs before and scratched my wheels, and I've hit freakin' chuck holes and bent my wheels also. Probably nothing TOO major.

either the rotor is majorly warped, or the caliper bracket bent, or the axle is skewed, or a combination of all three.

have fun with that.

Hit a curb with my front. Had T/C ON and still hydroplaned (can't stop that with T/C). Anyway it could be anything thomas mentioned.

I'm not sure about the axle thing because it would seem like the axle would bind if it were bent. I'm going to say take the whole thing apart to the bear axle and spin it, if there isn't any bind then put it back together "testing" each part that goes back on.

I hit a curb and slightly bent my axle out of round. Made a very faint noise, almost brake like. Took 2 differently dealers, and the second one two mechanics, to find it. My problem was I forgot to tell them to drop in the gears when the rear was open. 4 months later I put gears in.
