well i just went out to start my car, it has not been started since sunday, (its been sitting because of tropical storm fay) now today is wednsday, well when i started it it blew out a huge clould of blueish smoke, that smelled like oily gas and sputtered for a few seconds, its never done that before, but i dont usually let it sit that long, i dont rely care because im rebuilding the engine, but i would like to know what it was.. could it be an injector leaking a little?

Sounds like slightly leaking valve seals - accumulates around the valve seat after dripping down the valve stem from the oil sitting on top of the head. Won't need to worry about that when you replace the heads as long as you have new seals which im sure you will as you are using different valves. Can't really be the injector as that pressure is electronically regulated.

Longer a car sits, the more likely it is to happen. Also the warmer it is the more likely as well - lower viscosity.
