I've Been taking apart the seats in my 67 and its taken me 2 hours so far taking hog pins off and this is just on the bottom of the passenger seat. This is my first job doing this (I'm 17) and I was wondering if I really needed to put on how many Ford had on there. I mean there'd be spots where it'd have 4 hogpins in the matter of an inch. I mean would the cushion really mold out of shape if I didn't put this much back on? Anyways thanks for any sugguestions.

You are cutting the hog pins with dykes aren't you and not trying to save them?
And yes, you need multiple hog pins to properly attach the covering. Hog pins are cheap and so are the pliers when you reinstall.

get a pair of diagonal cutters. They worked for me. If you had 1 pin per inch do you know how uncomfortable it would feel? not to mention that you would leave an imprint of ur ass in the seat.
