Look at this hole. The guy who had it before used it for his n20 or something. Should i get it welded up? Or will sticking a gromet in there be ok? Im guessing the gromet will get shot out under boost?

I will be getting water injection soon, but i doubt the hole will need to be so big.

Thanks guys.

that is a big hole for some n2o. atleast i think so. i dont have it so i wouldnt know. but have you thought about using those piping clamps like they use on ships, big pipes and such for a temp. solution until u get ur water injection. then just make a piece that has your new size hole in it and large enough to cover that one. just a thought.

Could that hole be for a blow off valve?

Get a tube of JB weld and two pieces of aluminum. Get one piece about the same thickness as your pipe, then a thin piece about .040". Normalized aluminum is best because it is softer.

First shape the thick piece so it fits the hole and the contour of the pipe. Next, cut and form the thin piece about 1/4" bigger on all sides, and fit it to the inside of the pipe.

Now glue it all up and you have a repaired pipe.

Thanks for the ideas guys.

I may just go the JB weld route, since that seems easiet.

The bypass valve hole is just below, you cant see it in the pic.
