I have a holley 174 blower. My problem is I had to hack my alternator bracket in order to have clearance for the blower. The part that was hacked was my belt tensioner. Does holley make a specific bracket with a tensioner that would make my life easier for my Serpentine belt to put on. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

All I can figure is to get one of those adjustabe Alt. brackets from summit or someplace. Then you could put the tension on the belt via the alternator. How's that blower work? I was thinking of getting one if I ever came up with a few grand for the ole stang. Is it made for a single carb or two?

I seem to recall reading somewhere that you were supposed to go hunting around junkyards for this piece off of a Cougar or something like that. That was one of the things that turned me off about that blower.

If you can get another way to work (like mentioned above) I'd stick to that.

Actually I got the blower for only $1000 and it's amazing. Right now I'm only running about 7 PSI, but when I'm readying it's going up. Adjustable up to 26 PSI. I love it! It's for single carb, mines on a 750 right now. Thanks for the help.
