Im wondering how you have all your vacuum lines hooked up. pics would be great as well! from the pcv valve to everything. where are your lines running and what baffles do you have etc. my mechanic just changed the vacuum lines thinking it would help with oil being pulled through the pcv and intake. i used to have a breather from the pcv valve going up to the breather. now he tied in to something else and made some baffle under the intake.

i ask because it is a DOG now compared to what it was. it sounds shaky and isnt completely "open". almost sounds as if it is choked now. the whole motor sounds different for some reason. could moving around the vacuum lines cause what im seeing?

thanks,

jim

thanks,

no one??? i noticed today that when accelerating slowly in 3rd gear it wasn't smooth. it was rough and surged forward and let off a little repeatedly. i also had a clutch cable, new plugs and a distributor cap installed with the changing of vacuum lines. can anyone help out with where to start?

thanks,

jim

Sounds to me like there are some vacuum lines in the wrong spot ore something. There should be a vacuum block on the firewall that you ccan get additional vacuum from if need be. Let me know if that helps any,
