Hey, the previous owner had the positive choke wire spliced into the wiring for the heating blower motor. I just yanked out the heating system along with that blower motor. Where is the best place to re-attach that wire? I mentioned it to a friend and he cautioned that I need to make sure it can draw enough power. I actually tried to put it back into one of the wires that went to the blower motor. I don't think that worked okay.

There probably will be many opinions here, but I always run it to the "S" stator
post on the alternator. That way there is not 12v powering the choke except when the engine is running, and not just when the key is on. The stator will only provide about 9 1/2 volts, which usually is plenty to operate the choke mechanism.
Don't put it to the blower motor, unless you want to run the blower constantly.

Just FYI...

I emailed Holley and they said the fuse block was the place to wire it to.

I was going to wire it in with the alternator but I wasn't exactly sure which wire and didn't feel like experimenting.
