Ok guys dropped my 317 stroker in friday night .. Started at 7 had it running 430 am. I cannot for the life of me get this clutch adjusted right without it either A - being to high and to me feeling partially dis engauged causing it to shift like crap . B- grab 1/8 off the floor where i like it and squeal. The retainer and fork look good. No grooves. Old tob did not have any grooves....

Clutch is a Ram I believe a step above the HDX . Got it from a friend barley ran in a car. New TOB, MM fire wall and cable set up . Old tob always made a little noise but was do able. My question is can i use the LDC cable freeplay mod and get this to go away. Its very annoying. If i lay my foot feather light on the pedal and just take the slack off its quiet and supposidly this LDC mod is for this issue and is supposed to solve it with a spring on the cable by the bell housing .Anyone please your input is welcomed.

Definately sounds like the tob. Idk what free mod you're referring to though. Make sure the cable has a nice long sweeping 'U' shaped to it and it's not all kinked up.

the freeplay mod adds a spring and a pvc collar to hold the spring between the bell hosing and the fork to ensure there is no freeplay in the clutch fork allowing the tob to wobble around which is what it seems to be doing . TOB is new. I played with the cable adjustment its a bit better but not solved.
