It's ALIVE!!!! OMG! It's like driving on ice though, take off nice and slow into first hardly touching the gas and Eeeeetch, shift into 2nd, Eeeeetch, third gear eeeetch lol No power shifting and a little over 1/4 throttle.
I had the car almost sideways while in third and just bliping the thottle a little, this is at 60km/h lol I also left behind two nice rubber marks of about 30 feet long lol You know to mark my territory "This is not Ricer street, get out!" lol The sound is just awsome, sort of loud but a mean freaking sound! I can't wait to get the 17" wheels on, maybe I'll get a glimps of traction.
I rebuilt the carb but it needs a good adjustment because the engine runs as if I installed a good cam lol. The only thing is that my flex plate is crooked and touches the flywheel I will remedy this with a metal bar that will hold it in place. Also the oil pressure tubing is leaking at the engine so I will use teflon on it. Speaking about guages I went and bought an autometer vent cluster and Splitfire guages, it came to 300$ just for oil pressure and water temp
Anyway my car is going pretty good, the brakes are perfect (even if they need to be upgraded). Now my dad is calling some friends to see if I can that sucker painted next week
