personally, i'd go to ebay and buy one there. you probably won't be paying much if any more for it, because the filters are so freakin expensive, and you'll have one that works nicely and looks good

dude I bought mine, NOT off of ebay for 70 bucks. I mean, unless you REALLY want to then go ahead, but I wouldn't do a home made one

I agree. Just buy one and save yourself the hassale. Really, the hardest part is where the MAF bolts on to the filter part. After that, it's easy. But just buy yourself one.

I would like to know, what is the difference between the MAC and ones that can be bought off of ebay? Beside about $100.00. Does any one know?
Thanks

don't bother with it. w/the crappy instructions that i got off of mustangworld (it says the pipes fit perfectly, but i got the exact pieces it said to get and had to trim this and trim that....and after all that, it didn't even fit in there!!!), i ended up w/5 stitches in my wrist. don't ask, but if i were you, i'd just buy one and save yourself the hassle.
