Home made oil separator

I did it under $24 .
Home made Oil Separator. Filter from Home Depot made by Husky $12.00. 1/4 NPT 3/8 barb 2 of them
$2.50 each, 3/8 fuel line hose 4' from checker $5.99 and total of $ 22.99 .

i made this one for my daily driver...i empty it out once a week..the only bad thing with the husky piece is that if you get the one with the valve at the bottom to drain it leaks all the time so you have glue i shut...i just spent the money for the greddy hc seperator for the stang should be here tonight.

if anyone wants pics of either let me kno ill post them up

Nice. Pretty inexpensive mod. Clean install too.

Thank you for kind words . Home depot and lowes was my place to go when I was doing my turbo install about a month ago. I went there so many freaking time to get from bolts to grinder

I did however saw some oil on the separator today, and I did put some black gasket maker on the bottom hole just to make sure there is no leaks

You might find that you want to remove the filter element (and run the housing as just a catch-can).
The element can saturate and become restrictive.
