Ok I found where Im getting the hood scoop LMPerformance 3D691268 California Special Replica Hood Scoop 2005+ Mustang PRE-PAINTED - 3D691268 ($225 painted) and the hood stripe ($100 with 4.6L logo) but Im having trouble finding the window scoops. I thought I wanted these but they look....bulky?? anyone know of a similiar scoop that doesnt stick out as far? I was also considering the SHR flush louvers but after seeing the install proceedure I dont know if I want them lol, has anyone in here installed them? is it as complicated as it looks? Also on the hood scoop it says its held in place by 3m tape...how likely is it that it can fly off???

There are a couple of guys who have done the SHR install here. Can probably find the threads with a quick search.

I think any window scoop is going to add bulk to the car. Really, anything that blocks out that quarter window will do it since it closes up the greenhouse. If you go with something I definitely think the SHR louvers are the best out there at the moment.

The 3M tape is pretty standard for most of the side scoops and is a supplement for many spoliers. They stay attached extremely well.

I have supreme confidence in that 3M tape. If you've ever tried to take something off that was held on by that stuff you'll know.

I am one of those that did the self install of the SHR flush mounts. Take your time and you will do ok. Clearly the longest process is the removal, esp if you want to keep the glass in one piece. I would do it again if I had to
As long as the double sided tape is the correct 3M tape for the application and the prep work is done correctly, there shouldn't be much to worry about

i've got the scoops you are looking at. i love them. i have them and the side scoops, got them done at the same time, and i definitely think it looks alot better with them on.
i was also worried about them sticking out too far. but after seeing them on the car i'm extremely happy with them.

Those windows scoops are the cervini sccops, they only look good if you have the eleanor body kit. Get the street scene window sccops best window scoops on the market IMO.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-0...trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQitemZ250306072270

- visibility + aerodynamic drag = not for me.

The SHR louvers on the other hand are pretty neat.

If the SHR louverss had been out when I bought mine, I'd have picked them for sure.
The nicest, cleanest louvers out there.
Too late now, as I shudder to think of what I'd have to do to get the wife to agree to let me switch out.
The ones you are looking at look best with the side scoops.
The side scoops add bulk, which makes the window scoops look like they belong.
