I NEED to buy a new hood for my car and instead of just buying a junk yard 1 and having it painted id rather just buy a new hood that will be lighter in weight and help me to achieve something useful besides looks whether it is venting or cooling. I dont know which or what kind of hood that can help me with this. I want to buy a hood that will actually do something if thats possible besides sit and look pretty. Basically I want a hood that can help improve performance even if its the subtle way but id rather spend my money on the hood to help my vehicle then just another replacement hood that looks good. I have seen The Ram Air Hood I think i saw one for my year (My mustang is a 00 Vert v6) Does it do anything as the name implies or is it all looks? Anyways if ne1 knows of a hood that can be valuable besides looks please help me. thx guyz.
