Ok guyz...gimme some pics and links to your "favorite" hood pins.

This is one cosmetic mod where I will heavily consider the popular vote, since I myself dont have a preference. Im getting a Cobra R hood that already has pins in them, but they are rusting, so I need new ones. Hole already drilled.

I will check back after 9PM tonight.

Thanks
RC

Awe the good old hood pin thread. I've been pondering hood pins for a while now and know I need a set, I just don't know which ones to get. I like the clean look of the locking pins, but I also like these, I just don't know with the curvature of our hood and their size if they'd look OK:

I run Ford Racing hood pins. That was the only hood pin I could find that was Stainless Steel, I didn't want my pins to start rusting. They've worked great.

You have pics of yours? The ones on the hood Im getting are FRPP. They have the rings, but the rings are build in to the metal piece and do not come loose. They just slide. I dont like the cables connected to the. I just want to find a nice set the will fit where these are now.

THanks

Not too many SN-95's that I can find with Aerocatch locks, but here's a New Edge with the locking type:

I don't run cables or loops. When I lift the hood I put the pins around a pin. I can take pics but it won't be till Monday till I can post them.

Until you can get pics, can you at least get me a link or P/N so I can check them out?

Thanks

The local guy here in California makes them. They are not really into EFI or fox or our cars. They are into 60's and early 70's mustang. I saw them install these on Fox mustang and 94-98 cars and they look simply "AWESOME"!!!

I bought a pair also and looking to install them soon. You should buy a pair too. These hood pins are really clever! the unlike the metal ones this will not scratch the hood. the mounting plate is made out of "POLYURETHANE" so it won't stain the metal hood on fox body cars and wont "CRACK" the fiberglass hood. You do not have to use the wires if you don't want to.

It's very nice design. and it's only $50 bucks. This will last you life time Do it right once and forget it.

Let me know.
