Hood PINS ???

Hey guys got another question here.
I currently waiting for my Trufiber GTS-3 hood from the body shop, I should have it by Wednesday.

Here is a pic of it, on someone elses car

I bought the hood pin kit from partscheap.com and had it powder coated black

My question is......

How and where do I install these at? I know they have kits that mount to the radiator support but that is too close to the center of the hood and would go right through the hood scoops. I want them on the outer edge of the hood and thought I found a good spot to mount these but all I can figure is that they would have to take the place of the rubber stops. If i go anywhere else it would not line up in the middle of the body lines closest to the outer edge.
Here is the look I want.....
SHOULD HAVE THUMBNAILS AT BOTTOM.

Pictures or videos are needed if possible to understand better.

I just re-posted over here, I had about 50 readers and no one that could help.
Maybe I can get a little bit better response here.

Sometimes man - you've just got to be the trailblazer! Take lots of pics. What's the worst that can happen? You have to repaint the hood? Let your inner fabricator flow.....

Just find the location you want them.
Measure once, twice, three times, four times...

I have done several sets at the outer rubber stops locations.. HeavyGT's car included as he's running my old hood now.. Here's a shot..
