I got a set of Spectre hood pins from a local parts store , they are stainless steel and still look brand new after the past couple months of daily driving . Cost me about $12.99 at Autozone .
Sorry this took so long to respond to. These are on a HO FiberTrends 5" cowl hood. The hood is dual layered, so I had to trim the underhood layer to get the re-enforcement plate attached to the bottom side of the hood. The red pins go where the normal hood "bump stops" would be. i got tired of rolling the dice too my hood popped a couple times in the last couple years held only by the safety latch scary ****! so i got UPR shelby polished hoodpins im happy as hell with them. I never wanted hoodpins on my car now i wouldnt have any other way hood dont move at any speed and ive grown to love the look.
