hood replacement for shaker scoop on GT

I was looking in my 50resto book and saw an add for the mach 1 replacement hood. It said 2003 mustangs without factory hood scoops require hood replacement?? so does that mean that the 2004 mustang hoods have a hole through the hood like the mach1 hoods if you take off the scoop??? just wanted to know if i did get this eventually (probably not anytime soon), but if i did would i need to get another hood on my 04?? just wondering any help would be great, thanks

its an 03 but tis the same hood, this is a shot before I took it off to install the CDC kit... theres a few more pics on the cardomain link, BUT this is the best one... no hole.. on the underside you COULD cut it out, but theres no point
