Hood scoop help!!

I just received my hood scoop I ordered from Ford. There are no instructions or templates for this. I know Mustangworld has a how-to on the scoop but it is the one from KarKraft which doesn't have as many connecting points. Does anyone have any tips for this install as far as measurements. I don't want to end up buying a whole new hood too.

I don't have my factory hood anymore, but go to Ford and measure the distance from the rear of the scoop to the rear of the hood. Make a template of the scoop out of paper marking where the bolts go. Tape it too the hood using the measurement you got and drill the holes.
