I have a pair and as mentioned, slip fit to the x pipe that I have. I'm hoping for a leak-free install

3" colector right? I have a Magnaflow cated X and was going to have it cut and weld in a 3" to 2 1/2" reducer Hooker seels. That should work right?

Correct, it is a 3" collector and I believe that your idea will work being that the xpipe that is included with the headers is also a 2.5" pipe.

Well I don't have mine currently installed as the engine is out of the car still, however the welds do look quality The headers should be a nice addition to your setup but be sure to use locking header bolts as you'll be pretty upset with yourself if you have to change them out at a later time.

Slip fit. Just hope that you wont need to take the x-pipe off because once its on, it’s a pain to get off. When installing my torque converter I ended up having to cut the connection.
