it was such a nice day out today, i thought i'd snap a few pics. also, i isntalled some urethane spring isolators up front, raised it a bit but now she sits more level than raked, i like the old stance better but now there's no rubbing so i'm happy. she's a little dirty, it's hard to keep a black car clean...

enjoy!

You know what your car needs? It needs the SVO wheel well flairs that are in the other thread. It looks pretty good without side skirts, but the rear bumper cover being wider than the side of the car looks funny. If you could even it out with the flairs...it'd look sweet.

Hey... how does that 245/45/17 tire fit up front on that 9" (20mm offest) wheel?

You have the more narrow fenders I think?? (vs. 1992)

Just curious... cuz LRS recommends the 255/40/17 on that wheel.

Tirerack website tells me the 245/45 is 9.6" wide and 25.7" tall... vs 10.0" wide and 25.0" tall for the 255/40.

The 275/40/17 is 10.8" wide and 25.6" tall.

So what do you think? Go with the same height tire in the back? Does the 9" wheel stretch the 245 a little much?

Thoughts?

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

hey cenok, you think those x10 sc's will clear some lower control arms(blue oval industries brand). i want to run the x10 sc's like you but i also want to do lc. arms for some less wheel hop/maybe some extra traction...

Nice, the look of your car works w/o the side skirts, pipes, and fogs. It kinda has a clean road racer look to it.

the 245/45 is workin out well on the front. the 9" rim doesn't stretch them at all, they're actually pretty close to being even with the edge of the rim. i'd go at the least a 275/40 in the back. they fit with no problems, i might even go wider next time around.

yeah you'll clear those control arms with no problem at all. i have UPR upper and lowers....i'm pretty sure they are the exact same design as the BOI control arms.

yeah i know, it just looks lacking to me without them. i have dumps but my car has always had tail pipes on it, they were just hanging there for looks though. i have a set of chrome 2.5" tails that i'm going to put on the same way until i can save up to get a whole new exhaust, then i'm going to get the 3" flowmaster tails that wrap below the tank. those looks sooooooo sick

coming pretty good. i am fixing to build the setup hopefully in the next few weeks. but first i have to pull my motor out, i seemed to have sucked something up as the oil pump is locked up and it broke the intermediate shaft, and i lost oil pressure. i got the broken shaft out and tried to turn the pump with a drill and its locked up good. lol oh well.

looks great overall. Im guessing you have coilovers since you said you raised the front? I say bring it back down, not to go for a noticeable rake look, but it's sitting too high. The front should always be a little lower than the rear, level doesnt give it a good stance, maybe it's just the road you had it on though sat the rear a little lower. Not being a pessimist though, looks great. Is that an ABC grill or just a cobra with the center cut out?
