Ok I lock my car and the horn beeps twice..I checked to make sure both doors are closed and they are...I just put a new doam light in it hasnt had one since i owned it..Kinda wired..Is this a pats problem?
does dome light goes out? Keyless monitors domelight to see if door is shut. U replaced it, and now car thinks door is oepn. I say you got short or wire contacting metal or someting like that at your dome light

Let's mix the 2...I've had this problem on both my Stang and my '98 Taurus. The Taurus had the alarm horn; on the Stang it was the dome light not shutting off. Same fix...soak, and I mean SOAK the door latches with WD40. Fixed 'em both
