I don't know how many of you watch the show anymore but they are getting a fox. It looks like a notch. They are planning a budget build of it. I think I saw a glimpse of a supercharger.

i love watching the show, only thing that i kinda of laugh at is how EASY they make it look.

Like one show they swapped cams on the host's 96 stang. they made it seem like it was easy as changing oil.

I find alot of stuff is like that. The instructions and guide on the net make something look easy, sometimes it might be, but theres always the little ****, always, you run into something stupid everytime, or at least i do.

Now there's an oxymoron.

You don't know what the budget is but yes you are right. We will see what they have planned for us.

Actually it looked like an aluminum intake tube that had been drilled and tapped for a Nitrous Nozzle instead of a Supercharger.

When that show first started, about 4 or 5 years ago. They did a LX hatch that ran pretty quick. It was silver and they put head, cam and intake plus nitrous...

My buddy and I were watching horse power tv today and they had a procharged LS1 camaro that they were tuning on. after a couple of tweeks they had 491hp at the wheels, and then the host says Im going to add 1 more degree of timing and see what happens. Well the next pull was 541hp. They picked up 50hp for just 1 deg. of timing. My buddy has an automatic LS1 camaro that runs 12.20's and was like ( those guy are full of sh$@). The worst part is that they didnt even run it at the track.

If you listen to his words close he uses the term Nitrous after he talks about the 1 degree of timing. That thing looked like a major PITA to work on, I think they moved just about everything they could during the install and he said there were 18 pieces of intake pipes, ouch!

Sorry for the semi-hijack but.....

Do any of you guys have Trucks (from yesterday) on a DVR that could burn it onto a DVD for me. Somehow my DVR did not record it and it is not scheduled to rerun today.

My budy Kevin is the new cohost. He is the person that taught me how to paint. He is pretty awesome. He was on trucks a few times when it was Stacey's show, and he paintedProject Copperhead, among other things. His other business is linked at the bottom of my sig, Paintucation.

Thanks,
Cliff

They built an LX hatch a few years ago if I remember right. I don't think they got out of the 14's even with the spray. Damned Chevy owners.

not for nothing, but those guys cant seem to drive too well. they did a H/C/I on an LS1 a couple monthes ago, prolly a rerun, but they only got high 13s, i was like, wow wtf? i mean it was hot, but they were running slicks if i remember correctly. it wouldnt suprise me if they just couldlnt drive? either way, still an entertaining show.
