What are the best but cheap performance parts for a 1996 mustang gt? I am trying to gain horsepower. My car is basically stock except for the cold air intake. If you want to see my car, here is a link to my car domain page.

Your car and what you have done to it is awesome. Too bad you donot have before pics.

I would suggest gears and an SCT Livewire with custom tune to wake up your car.

x2 plus ditch the mid pipe for a lighter and much freer flowing one. If you have anything less than 3.27 gears - I would have gears high up on the list.

On the Cheap for me was: PI Intake & PI Cams, K&N filter, 3.73 gears, Xcal2 with tuning support from LaSota Racing.
Car runs like a Raped Ape now!!! Of course I was able to do the installs myself, except the gears.
