hose location? 87 5.0

i was wondering if someone could tell me where a vaccum hose goes. the hose i'm talking about is attached to the underside of the front of the intake manifold. right behind the distributor. there should be two hoses, i'm talking about the one on theleft. this is if your at the frontof the car looking towards the windshield. if you need a pic of the hose i'm talking about then let me know.

It hooks up to the charcoal canister, but has an inline valve between the two with an electrical plug on it.
