will be picking up a 65 fastback that doesnt have any rear seat belts. how can I add them? just looking for standard seat belts so that my daughter can take the occasional ride to the ice cream stand, etc.

where and how do they go in? advice directions much appreciated from those that have done it!!

Thanks

Sam

Being as they didn't come with rear seat belts, I would think you could fab. up some anchor points like the front seats have, the same ones may work, just cut a hole and weld them in, and then use rear lap belts from a later model year.

Rear lap belts or rear 3 points? If you just want lap belts then pull the seat out and drill holes for them....make sure to use backing plates to reinforce them. But I have seen a few go the 3-point way if you prefer that....but I don't know how they do those.. sorry

Each set of belts attach to the floor under the seat, on the up slope of the seat on the rear floor pan area. Add a face plate to each side of the sheet metal (3"x3" with a center hole) and attach them securely. They will hold great.
