how are the BFG G-Force T/A KDWs

Just want to know if these are decent sticky tires for the street. These are the only tire in 285s for a fair price that i've found.

anyone running these?

Check out...Tirerack.com....and read the reviews. Great tire and great price from what I hear...my 295's are on national backorder. But all in all, I am sure it will be worth the wait.

I'm running 275/35/18 and I love them. Tread pattern looks Killer !! Can't say much about traction as they are my front tires...

I'm running KD out back and they HOOK ! My current setup is way better than the Michelin Pilot Sports I previously had... BFGoodrich make great tires, you won't be disappointed.

I ran the KDW New tread design on all 4 corners and they performed very well, especially in rain, honetly the best performing tire i have used. However, i only got about 18k out of them (though i do beat on the car and readily slide through turns and burn up the rear). you could MAYBE get 25k out of them if you really took it easy, but if you are using them for performance then you are going chew them up like i did.

I am now running Fuzion ZRi in the front and Falken Zeix in the rear to try two new ones for more milage (i drive 200-400 miles a day) as i cant afford to buy tires every 3 months.

Nitto NT555 eXtreme II are similer in hold, not quite as good in a turn, but a very solid performer with slightly better milage in my usage. Just some thoughts

Great in the rain and when it is hot out. I have 275s on my 00 gt. They are hard tires though, they really suck when it gets colder though. I don't drive mine in the snow, but the only time I could get them to hook up well was when it was 75 + degrees.

The KD model are supposed to be a lot better, but they probably suck in the rain as they are a dry condition only tire.

I have no experience with the all season version of the tire.

Personally, I am going to go with a different tire next time. These tires are just OK, nothing special for the price.

I've got them on my GTO and I'll have to say I'm not too impressed with them. They aren't lasting too long and the grip I'm not very fond of.

Hah, maybe they are made to only hook for real sports cars. My friend has a set on his 01 Kebra, and they hook like a working lady in Nevada. He's afraid of detonating his IRS with them now. I've seen a handful of massive burnouts on them, and about 5500 miles, and they still look healthy. Don't know how they do in the twisties, but they make some incredible straight line action.

I've autocrossed mine on several occasions. They aren't exactly on par with any of the R compound tires but... they aren't supposed to be. I find that at the limit they let go predictably and they give you lots of warning. I have 4.10's and about 265hp at the rear wheels and I can break them loose almost anywhere in second, but I have to try to do it. If I drive smartly and don't just put the gas to the floor whenever I feel like it, they have awesome grip.

I plan on going with Nitto 555s next time. We have the KDWS on the GTO. After a few mods they feel like rubber bands and don't last long. I hear they really suck in the winter.

i've got them on my mustang and i love them, they have a decent amount of tread life and they've been on there for about 25k miles.. i do usually do some racing everyweekend, whether it's out at the track or on the streets.. havent ever done a burnout or doughnut tho, so i've still got some good tread left.. as for hooking up, i have no clue because it's the only tires i've had on the car

KDW and KDWS are two different tires. The KDW is nice, the KDWS is the 400 treadwear all season tire. Sucks a$$ at the track . . . JMHO . . .
