I had mine out and about in the 20 and 30 degree weather and it did just great. It starts and idles just perfectly. Before I installed the ignition, blower, and 30# injectors, however, the car would idle terribly during initial startup if the temp was below 30 or so. Now it runs just great though. Maybe that was due to the N/A MAF calibration and the 24# inj. Id like to install a B31 cam and redyno it, but knowing my luck it would run like crap afterwards.

I'm really glad someone brought this up. My car hasn't been running good at all in the cold (temps 10-30 degrees). Idle is all over the place, and once it settles down, it idles rough at about 200-300rpm higher then normal. Car also wants to die alot, when taking off in first gear. Even when the car is at operating temp, I still experience some of these things. I have all new 02 sensors, MAF, IAC, TP, PCV etc.

Plug in your block heater with a timer, or just plug it in about 90 minutes before you drive . Takes a couple of minutes for a good warm up, and stop the crazy idle at -20* or colder.

Synthetic oil

Regular gas, no fear of detonation.

My mods are limited, but baby, does she go in the cold.

One last thing, NEVER open your power windows before driving 20 minutes or so. Buggers freeze, and you could burn out the electric motor.

I know this is

:OT: but anytime I hear Texas and cold in the same sentence..

I think of the movie where a Texan said " Once it got so cold, our words froze and we had to put them in the frying pan to hear 'em.."

BTW, its not cold in Texas...

No ****, I'm in Vegas (roughly 5-6 miles from the face of the sun) and it snowed last night and this morning I planned on driving my pile to work, but D/R's, skinnies and snow do not mix Since it's been cold out though I do see 1-2#'s more boost, always a plus in my book.

HAHA, I'll remember that this July/Aug when Im not even needing to Run my A/C and your sweating your balls off

Most of the summer its in the mid to upper 80's here w/ overall low humidity, only a few weeks of opressive heat and humidity.

I took my car out today but it's 80 degrees out (still running A/C too). So I guess this thread does not apply to me. So why did I reply? I don't know. Why am I answering my own questions? Still don't know.
