How bad is a MAACO Job?

I also agree with Therian. The maaco paintjobs are hit or miss. They have several packages, the cheapest one is total ****, period, it'll look good for a few months and eventually start peeling/chipping. The more expensive ones are decent but still, you can find a good painter that does sidework for as much and get better quality work. Start looking around on local car forum.

Just a thought:

Why not get a quote from a Ford dealer? Some dealers just chage out the a$$ for everything, but there are many who have decent prices at their body shops.

I love the color of my car and thought about having Ford repaint it. Not all green stangs have the same type of green paint, cause mine looks almost blue in low light or under street lights (some 94-98 stangs always look green). I'm talking some people swear my car is blue at night, however it is green. I'd be afraid that I couldn't get it repainted the exact same color, so a dealer seems logical unless it costs way too much.

If I got my car painted at a dealer and it was as good as when the car was new, I'd be satisfied.

Again........just a thought.
