This seems pretty suspect to me...

As far as I know, Saleen never offered an 18" diameter Stern wheel on any of their vehicles, Fox body or SN95. They were all 17" diameter, even on the SA10.

Not to say that Stern/Speedline didn't produce an 18" model, but I don't think such models were ever a Saleen offering.

Mark is correct. He is on Stangnet and Corral. His screenname is Mint93gt. Sterns are made in Japan and "our " 17" 3 piece style is seen often on Supra's 300ZX's ( they call them Fairladys ) and RX7's. The 18" is actually more common than the 17". That style is still very popular in Japan.

Yes Andrew sold me my set of 17" 3 piece STERNS, he can be totally trusted. I've talked to him directly and he's a great guy. I knew about those wheels for some time, but I didn't think he would part with them. congrats Mark. The value of my STERNS just doubled thanks to that sale hehehehe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All I was saying was that Stern probably produced an 18" version but it was never offered directly by Saleen as a standard production item nor as an option.

I agree also.

I should have mentioned it in my post. Saleen NEVER offered an 18" version of the Stern 3 piece wheel.
