Hey guys, I bought a rebuilt engine then I bought a rebuilt transmission (bought em from two separate ppl) anyway, now I wanna bolt em together so I can drop it all into a car but I don't have some of the bolts off the trans, I really haven't checked to see what all i'm missing but I am going to definitely need the bolts from the bellhousing to the engine. Does anyone know a site I can find out the bolt sizes I need?

Not sure what size they are, but i am sure they are metric.

Maybe 10mm-1.5 or 12mm-1.75 could even be 14mm-2.0

5.0 motor to tranny bolts are 16mm or 5/8.

All small block Fords that I've ever seen are 7/16. You want them about 7/8' to 1" longer than the thickness of the mounting boss on the trans to go through the block plate and into the block itself.
Never knew any 302 or 351 to have any metric thread tapped into it.
{7/16 is the bolt and thread size, not the wrench size, that's the way fasteners are catagorized.}

ok I searched a bit more and came up with this
7/16-14 X 4
my question is, are the bolts all the exact same size?

Sorry, I'm not familiar enough with AODs. Never owned one.
Just get a tape measure and measure the bosses that the bolts pass through. I think C-4s are all the same length so AOD might be too.

ok I definitely think I bought the wrong bolts, I got em 7/16 4" in length coarse thread but there's only about an inch and a half of actual thread, does this sound about right? If I need to i'll take a picture. What about the bottom two bolts that are smaller, anyone got the size for them? Also how many bolts total are there supposed to be that hold the bellhousing to the engine? As it is I am missing the 2 starter bolts and am trying to figure out what all the holes are for, thanks guys.

The trans to engine bolts are the same thread as the shorter head bolts. You can just cut them down to fit.
