How can I identify which shifter I have?

If I remove the lower dash / shift boot, will it have the brand name stamped on it?

Now, how do I go about removing the lower dash / shift boot to see?

If it is aftermarket it should be stamped on it.At least, I know that my pro5.0 is.Just pry the plastic piece surrounding the shifter off.It just pops off.No big deal.You can unscrew the knob, but I don't think it would be neccessary to identify the shifter.
