I love the way my car handles now thanks to a solid steering shaft, new r&p, cc plates & proper alignment, but my tires rub at full lock. How can I limit the steering travel to provent this rub?

there is a part you can buy from the ford dealer or JY to limit the travel of the steering rack (and reduce your turning circle). they are called "rack limiters" and look like white plastic C clips that snap over the exposed part of the rack, on each side. (under the rack boots). a rack from a gt should have them on already, thats why i said JY. they are about $8 and can be installed on the ground in about 5 minutes per side, unless you have a bad back or your car is lowered

sure its the tires or the actual wheel rubbing? my 17x9's rubbed at full lock, the wheel lip did. ended up stickin spacers all around.

The rack limiters are Ford part # N804842-S. I just ordered some from the dealer for $2.28 each. You can also cut the little pad welded on the back of the control arm to get a bit more clearance.

Sounds like you order the correct part, they are kind of the shape of a "C" or a "U"
