How come this always happens to me?

Everytime I pull up next to a fellow stang owner on the road they automatically think I'm an a-hole trying to race when in actuality all I wanted to do was give them a thumbs up . Case in point: I was leaving work Wednesday I believe when outside of the parking garage on the street was a guy in a GT500 I pull out in front of him in traffic (going the opposite direction) and all I wanted to do was give him a but he was going out of his way to ignore me . I felt like a stood up prom date .

Yea thats gay. Everytime i see another mustang(GT or Cobra) i always look just to check it out. I don't think i'm capable of ignoring a car as beautiful as ours.

There are times at 6AM when i'm driving my Mustang to work and I'm barely awake and have missed a head-nod from a fellow mustanger.

I try to acknowledge when i can...but sometimes I miss one here or there, or i'll be on the phone, or shifting gears. It happens. Doens't make me a jerk though

Yeah, I hate that. I had a nice surprise today when I saw a nice EVO 8 ( I am a car guy) and I gave the thumbs up. We ended up at the same store and talked. We were talking about that same thing. He hates it when some EVO with a giant wing and race air damn trys to rev at him. His car looked stock except a nice low wing and was making 468 horses at the wheels. He even did a four wheel burn out while going 30 mph

Most fellow stangers around here won't nod or wave, most just give you a drive by stare. A few will wave and now and then one will rev it up as they drive by. And to be honest I may miss a few waves as sometimes it can be hard to see the person in the car coming at you due to sun glare.

haha well at least your not me, last night after riding around a few spots i pull up next to a cobra, him and his buddy are in the car and i ask them where everybody was at tonight, he and his friend both give me an evil stare and say "dont ask us, maybe you should follow that honda!" i mean i have a clean 5 speed 99gt, full exhaust and he treated me like i was in a 1983 turbo diesel mercedes station wagon! But I think it was aimed more twords rappers in general and there are some just as talentless white guys out there too rhyming things that dont rhyme.

BTW, my best friend always calls me a honkey cracker when I say African American.
Its always the same "im not wearing a loin cloth mother focker, do I speak in clicks?" Hes old school but he been my best friend for a long time and makes me laugh till I pee
