How did you plug your bung holes?

I'll bet you thought this thread was dirty. I have to cap a bung on my power pipe and one on a pipe that came with my new intercooler. Is threading them and putting a cap on the way to do it? I am concerned with pipe dope or thread tape getting to my engine. I suppose If you thread the outside that is not a problem. What are my options?

my shop tapped and threaded the bungs and inserted a threaded barb in there and then just capped the barb. You could do it that way or just weld something over the bung.

Hey spedermen, should'nt you have more boost with that size pulley?

U would think so. Not sure why i'm only at 9psi. After my bullitt intake install, i think i'm going to pulley down to a 3.12 pulley. Maybe because everything is free flowing from intake to exhaust (headers/no cats) and with the intercooler eating some boost, thats the only reason i can think of

It's not on yet but, I've been told I should have 10lbs. with the new intercooler and a 3.33 pulley.

Go to home depot and get a rubber cap for abs pipe. It slips over the bung hole and you just tighten a hose clamp and its done. I cant decide if I like my bov venting to the atmosphere or into the power pipe so I am constantly switching back and forth.
