Im 19 and I know more than the basics about cars. I still consider myself a novice though. How difficult is the 5.0 swap? What all is involved? Any links yall might be able to provide would be alot of help.
Did you use the Search function? There's a wealth of knowledge there awaiting for you. I'm 22, and gathering parts for my EFI conversion on my 302 - I'm mostly concerned on how to route the vacuum on the intakes... the rest seems fairly simple. The modified harness I bought has only 3 (I believe) connections to hook up. I think it was a hot wire, ignition and can't remeber the other. The rest to me, is plug 'n play (of coarse mine is already modded for the classic stang - meaning all non needed accessories have been removed)
If you meant EFI then like stangman said, do a search on this forum. If you meant 5.0 swap as in a 5.0 engine it will bolt in the same as your V-8. www.Mustangsplus.com has a good write up on the swap.
