I took the alt. off and brought it to three different part shops to see if they could swap the pulley for me, but none of them had an impact wrench, so I bought a set of impact sockets to use with my torque wrench. The size of the alt pulley nut is 24mm, which I have, but it will not come loose! The belt is connected and everything. When I try to loosen in, the alt just spins, even with the belt on. Is there a way to remove this damn pulley without an air impact wrench?

nope. there is no keway its all held by friction as soon as it comes loose it will spin, unless you want to pull it apart and hold the field coil but then that would void warranty

Okay I just got the nut off. Behind the nut there was a small washer that I also took off. But now there looks as if there is something else also holding it on. Something a socket will not grip onto. Its kind of deep inside the pulley. Anyone know how to get this off?

Still can't get it off. Its like this round-circular screw that is holding it in place. I tried unscrewing it with some pliers but no luck. Any other suggestions?

Not sure what to tell you - last time I changed one, after I hit the bolt with the impact wrench, the pulley just kind of fell off in my hand. Mine was from a stock 91 5.0L HO.
