94/95 FAQ section, there's an article in there. Post #4. Pics and everything. I had to do this 4 times. Twice to "fix" the motors (driver's and passenger), then twice again to replace the motors when they went out again, lol.

Well on step one of that article when it tells you to remove the plastic covering which contains the window up and down buttons and stuff; it tells you to start from the top.

So i did but only half of it comes out, the side with the buttons comes out but it feels like its screwed down on the other side.

If you have the Mach460 you need to remove the speaker cover then remove the screws deep inside. This is so you can actually lift the panel up. Remove the switch panel and unscrew everything. I think there is an interior screw there somewhere. In total there are only two screw holding it on and the plastic plugs (2) that hold the door on. Piece of cake.

I think he's referring to the window switch panel, not the door panel itself. The window switch panel is just clipped into place. And it can be a real b**** to get off the first time (after having to take mine off several times, now it just flops there :( ). You just gotta pop it out.

For the door panel, there are a few screws behind the window switch panel. You need to remove these, the tabs along the bottom of the panel, then pull upwards on it. It will take some force to remove, just like the switch panel. Good luck, lemme know if you need some more info. :nice:

Ok, yeah i am refuring to the switch panel I just didn't know what it was called :-p. Ok, its been taken off at least once by my brother becaus he painted them, so the top part comes out extremely easy. It doesn't even really snap in at the top part of the switch panel but the bottom part by the sunk in spot (where u can put like... stuff in) feels like its really attatched.

I am able to get the passenger side one off really easy though, i'm not sure what the deal is. I'll upload a picture in a sec incase what i said didn't make sence :-).

Sorry, try this:

switch panel

You can see the bottom left of the switch panel is stuck. I have tried pulling from every angle and i've tried puttin a screw driver under it and popin it up but it just won't budge. It feels like its super glued.

Ha, thanks for the compliment. I finally got the switch panel off.. i just had to twist it a certian way. But then next step says to remove the screws. I do so, then it tells me to pull the thing with the pliars.

Well, my drivers side door is missing that little tab. I guess the last person who took it out lost it. So, i skipped that step.

Well in the step he has the door panel off.... ? I have done all the previous steps but my door panel is still on there pretty good. Its looser.. but still on pretty tight.

Also, do i have to unscrew the switches from the switch board? It looks like that will get in the way when the panel comes off.

yes theres a screw maybe 2 on the switches that hold it to the door benzle you have to remove it and that will let go. Be careful lifting the door up though theres cheap little things holding it on and if you break them the panel will stick out.

EDIT: HA HA guess I should have read the first part of your post first :stupid:

There are a total of two screws and the one pushpin holding the door panel on. The two screws are already removed, they were behind the switch panel. And you've already removed the pushpin.

You also need to remove the cup around the handle, the one you use to open the door. It just pops out, though it can be difficult to get your fingers on an edge. Do you have the Mach 460 system? If so, you'll need to remove the top speaker. Pop off the grille, and there's a screw set in the one hole next to the speaker. If you don't have a speaker there, the triangular panel in its place just pops off.

Also remove the two screws behind the switch panel. You're right, it WILL get in the way when removing the door.

After that, if you lift on the bottom of the door panel, it should lift up and inch or so, then stop. then pull it out and away.

OKEY dokey
